More Than Just A Door...

Sure Lock Doors

Unique Structural Features

All Stainless Steel or Aluminium doors and frames manufactured by Sure Lock Doors incorporate certain features which we believe makes for a superior and long lasting product.

Timber Inserts

The main structural members of the frame and door are comprised of box section with either a hardwood or treated softwood timber insert. This feature enables extremely strong yet easily maintained fixings.

Hidden Welding

Stainless Steel and Aluminium doors and frames are welded with mortise and tenon joints for increased strength and all welding is hidden from view.

Full Length Hinge (including finger protection)

We use our own uniquely designed full length hinge which is fixed typically with over 40 fixings into hardwood. This makes it extremely unlikely that a door can be forced off the hinge and also prevents the door from dropping over time.

Door Entry Equipment

Door Entry panels and equipment (when incorporated into the frame) are housed in a stainless steel front panel (with a solid plywood backing) together with a stainless steel back box housing to secure the equipment from the public.

Security Fixings

It is important that vandals are unable to compromise the safe and efficient operation of a door by being able to remove fixings. For this reason we use Monodrive 5 fixings throughout including glazing beads. These fixings and corresponding driver bits are only available through authorised channels.

Glazing and Weather Proofing

Depending on the situation we recommend the use of either 11.5mm Anti-Bandit Laminate Glazing or UV protected 10mm or 6mm Polycarbonate. Each has certain advantages and disadvantages but we would advise on the best choice at the survey stage.

Every glazing panel and bead is weatherproofed and secured both sides using a double sided glazing tape and an internal silicon bead throughout. All doors include a full length weather brush along the bottom and hinge jamb. Where necessary we incorporate a front water drip rail above and at the bottom of the door.

Safety Features

We also incorporate certain safety features which are designed to increase safety and ease of use without compromising security.
